Distribution & export
Marrakech Flavour
Online store selling Moroccan products to the British market.

Context.
Selling Moroccan products to British customers raises problems that do not arise in domestic online commerce: prices displayed in a foreign currency, shipping costs that depend on actual weight, post-Brexit customs obligations, and the service expectations of a clientele used to high delivery standards.
The commercial constraint was credibility. A brand selling internationally from Morocco has to remove doubt immediately about its ability to deliver, to refund and to respond — otherwise the basket is never completed, whatever the quality of the product.
Delivered scope.
- 01Product catalogue with variants, weights and shipping constraints
- 02Local-currency pricing and shipping costs calculated on actual weight
- 03Checkout and payment collection adapted to the British market
- 04Order tracking and customer-side returns handling
The work was as much about logistics as about the interface. Shipping costs calculated on actual weight rather than flat rates removed orders sold at a loss, and showing delivery times and return conditions from the product page onwards handled the objection before it formed. The whole was built for an English-speaking clientele, with performance sustained from Europe.
What it changed.
A direct sales channel into an export market, without marketplace intermediation
Shipping charges aligned with real cost, order by order
An owned customer base that can be worked commercially
