Established SMEs, mid-market firms and group subsidiaries rely on our teams

01—What sets us apart

What you get from a firm at human scale

The full prime-contractor responsibility of a systems integrator, without the intermediate layers of a large organisation.

01

The whole scope, one accountable firm.

From upstream advisory through to operations: scoping, design, configuration, custom development, data migration, training, run. You do not coordinate several suppliers, and nobody can push the responsibility elsewhere.

02

The solution follows your business.

We have no product to place. Depending on what scoping reveals, that means a configured package, an application built for you, or a combination of both wired into your existing systems.

03

Senior people on your project.

The consultants who scope your project are the ones who deliver it. No handover to junior teams once the contract is signed.

04

You retain ownership.

Source code, operating documentation and infrastructure access belong to you. We document handover from the first milestone — including handover to a third party.

03—Methodology

Six phases, including the two nobody plans for

In an information system project, failure rarely comes from development. It comes from data migration and from adoption. We treat both as phases in their own right.

  1. 01Phase

    Scoping & audit.

    2 to 4 weeks

Mapping of processes and the existing system, gap analysis, target architecture and roadmap. Documented and costed deliverable.

  2. 02Phase

    Functional design.

    3 to 6 weeks

Target processes specified with your business teams, standard-versus-custom decisions, signed-off design document.

  3. 03Phase

    Configuration & development.

    scope-dependent

Core configuration, custom development, interfaces with existing systems. Iterations demonstrated to your business owners.

  4. 04Phase

    Data migration.

    in parallel

Extraction, cleansing, mapping and successive migration rehearsals until the dataset is validated. The most underestimated phase of any ERP project.

  5. 05Phase

    Acceptance & change management.

    2 to 5 weeks

User acceptance testing, key-user training, operating documentation. Adoption is prepared before go-live, not after.

  6. 06Phase

    Go-live & operations.

    ongoing run

Supported go-live, enhanced warranty period, then transition to operations with contracted service levels.

05—Engagement models

Four ways of working together

The contract model adapts to your maturity and your organisation — not the other way round. We recommend one at the end of scoping.

Model 01

Fixed price.

Scope, timeline and deliverables contractually committed against a defined objective.

Right when
The requirement is stable and the scope can be frozen: ERP deployment, application overhaul, project with a regulatory deadline.
What is committed
Commitment to results within scope, milestone plan, formal acceptance testing, warranty after go-live.

Model 02

Time & materials.

Skills embedded in your teams, under your management.

Right when
You run the project management in-house and need production capacity or expertise you lack.
What is committed
Commitment of means, named profiles, contracted duration and volume, gradual ramp-up.
Discuss this model
Model 03

Managed service centre.

Most common

A dedicated team taking ownership of an application scope over time.

Right when
You want to outsource maintenance and enhancements for a set of applications with service-level commitments.
What is committed
Defined service levels, single point of contact, enhancement budget, periodic reporting and steering committee.

Model 04

Build–Operate–Transfer.

We build and operate, then transfer to your teams.

Right when
You are building internal capability and need to move fast without long-term dependency on a supplier.
What is committed
Build and operate phases, transfer plan, training and support through the handover.
Discuss this model

Pricing is provided after scoping, based on the committed scope.

07—Questions

What management teams ask us

The questions that come up in our first conversations. If yours is not here, write to us.

First conversation

Let's talk about your systembefore we talk about a project.

A forty-five minute conversation with a consultant, not a salesperson. We will tell you what we think of your situation, including if the project is not ready.
